Delete Your Account
You can request deletion of your Keipy account and its data at any time — whether or not you still have the app installed.
Option 1: Delete in the app
If you have Keipy installed, this is the fastest way:
- Open Keipy and sign in
- Go to Settings > Account
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
Don't have the app anymore, or can't sign in? Send us a deletion request by email and we'll process it manually, usually within 5 business days.
This opens your email app addressed to nwerembright@gmail.com. No email client? Just send a message to that address with the account email you used to sign up.
What gets deleted
- Your user profile (name, email, phone, photo)
- Businesses you own, including clients, invoices, catalog items, and team membership records
- Uploaded images (profile photo, logos, signatures, stamps)
- Device push tokens and notification preferences
What we may retain, and why
- Financial records we're legally required to keep for tax or accounting purposes, retained only as long as required by law
- Aggregated, de-identified usage data that no longer identifies you
- A record that a deletion request was made, for compliance auditing
If you are a member of a business you don't own (e.g. an invited team member), deleting your account removes your personal profile and access, but does not delete the business itself or invoices created under it — that data belongs to the business owner.
Timeline
Requests submitted in-app take effect immediately (account deactivated) with permanent deletion after 30 days. Requests submitted by email are typically actioned within 5 business days, followed by the same 30-day grace period before permanent removal. You can cancel a pending deletion within the grace period by contacting us.
